Constance Halaveli
Halaveli · North Ari Atoll
Luxury · seaplane · 25 min · $700 – $2,500 / night
All-inclusive available
Constance Halaveli offers a moderately social and active all-inclusive experience, perfect for both couples and families. Its primary appeal lies in a comprehensive all-inclusive plan covering three restaurants and drinks, fostering a comfortable communal energy around dining and leisure.
Getting There
Twenty-five minutes by seaplane from Malé — one of the shorter seaplane transfers to a luxury resort. Daylight only, with the last seaplane departing Malé at 16:00. A 90-minute speedboat alternative operates for guests arriving after 15:30, avoiding the overnight stop. The resort has its own Constance-branded lounge at the seaplane terminal, making the wait comfortable.
Food
Three restaurants with an all-inclusive option that covers all venues including alcohol. The food quality for an all-inclusive resort is genuinely above average, particularly for breakfast and the main dinner service.
The Vibe
Moderately social with the all-inclusive format creating a natural communal energy around the restaurants and bars. Families and couples find a comfortable coexistence.
Activities
Diving and snorkelling are the core focus given the atoll's whale shark territory. The all-inclusive option covers non-motorised water sports. Tennis courts and a spa are available.
The Reef
Constance Halaveli has a house reef accessible from the beach and water villa jetty, but multiple travel specialists and guests describe the snorkelling as 'quite limited' — coral coverage is modest and marine diversity is below the best North Ari Atoll resorts. The dive centre offers excellent excursions to nearby sites where the real marine encounters happen, including whale shark territory. The house reef is a daily option but not the reason to choose Halaveli.
Kids' Club
No dedicated kids' club, though the resort accommodates families. The all-inclusive format makes it convenient for families who don't need a structured children's programme.
What Guests Say
The all-inclusive option, covering all three restaurants and alcohol, is a key draw, fostering a social yet relaxed atmosphere. While the house reef is accessible, it is generally considered moderate compared to other Maldivian resorts. The seaplane transfer is relatively short and scenic.
