One&Only Reethi Rah
Reethi Rah · North Malé Atoll
Ultra-Luxury · speedboat · 50 min · $1,500 – $8,000 / night
One&Only Reethi Rah stands as a Maldivian icon, celebrated for its expansive design and vibrant, yet sophisticated social energy. Ideal for couples, families, and groups, it balances relaxation with a diverse array of activities. With seven distinct restaurants and ample space, guests can enjoy both intimate moments and lively experiences within a grand setting.
Getting There
Fifty minutes by private speedboat from Malé. Longer than most North Malé Atoll transfers but the boat ride is smooth and the water views make it enjoyable. 24-hour operation — no overnight delay for late flights.
Food
Seven restaurants with strong variety — Japanese, Indian, Mediterranean and seafood all represented. The quality is consistently high across all venues and the wine programme is excellent. One of the strongest food offerings at this tier in North Malé Atoll.
The Vibe
One of the larger and more social resorts at this tier. The beach club and multiple restaurant venues create a lively atmosphere in the evening. Well-suited to groups and couples who want other people around, less suited to guests seeking complete seclusion.
Activities
One of the most activity-rich resorts at this tier — 14 sports and activities including tennis, water skiing, wakeboarding, and a dedicated kids' club. The tennis programme is particularly strong. Good for guests who struggle to sit still.
The Reef
The house reef is accessible from the beach but reviewers describe it as moderate by Maldives standards — decent fish life and some coral, but not the wall-to-wall marine spectacle found at Baa Atoll resorts. The resort's strength is its size and facilities rather than raw reef quality.
Kids' Club
A strong kids' club with supervised water sports, beach games, and creative activities. The large resort's scale supports a comprehensive children's programme. One of the better family-activity options at this tier.
What Guests Say
With seven varied restaurants, this resort caters to diverse palates, offering Japanese, Indian, and Mediterranean options. The house reef is accessible but considered moderate compared to other Maldivian resorts. It's a larger, more social resort with a beach club and multiple venues, which can be less appealing for those seeking ultimate quietude.
