The resort's most striking feature is 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, the world's largest all-glass underwater dining experience, offering an unforgettable culinary spectacle.
Getting There
A 40-minute seaplane to Lhaviyani Atoll. Straightforward and smooth. Daylight only.
Food
Three restaurants including the world's largest all-glass undersea restaurant, 5.8 metres below the ocean surface. The dining experience at Hurawalhi is genuinely theatrical — food quality matches the setting, with a strong emphasis on fresh seafood.
The Vibe
Adults-only (15+) and proud of it. The atmosphere is sophisticated and unhurried — no children, no noise, no compromises. The underwater restaurant creates a natural focal point for the evening.
Activities
The underwater restaurant experience is the headline activity — genuinely spectacular and unlike anything else in the Maldives. The dive programme is excellent and the water sports centre is well-equipped. Adults-only keeps all activities adults-focused.
The Reef
Adults-only Hurawalhi (15+) has one of Lhaviyani Atoll's best house reefs — direct jetty access, good coral health, abundant reef sharks and turtles, and notably the world's largest all-glass underwater restaurant on the reef edge. The reef is consistent and uncrowded given the resort's intimate scale.
Kids' Club
Adults-only (15+) — no kids' club. Not suitable for families with children under 15.
What Guests Say
Hurawalhi is an adults-only sanctuary in the Lhaviyani Atoll, celebrated for one of the atoll's best house reefs and its unique underwater restaurant. The sophisticated, unhurried atmosphere is ideal for couples, but the age restriction means it is not suitable for families with children.
